LABELLING THE DIAGRAM
Correctly labelling the diagram is vital.
1. There will always be a right angled marked. Look for this first.
2. There will always be another angle marked. Find this next.
3. You need to know the names of all three sides, however when doing questions you will only ever use 2 names at any one time:

HYPOTENUSE (H): |
The side that the right angle is pointing at is called the Hypotenuse.

ADJACENT (A): |
The side that is touching the angle is called the Adjacent
|

|
OPPOSITE (O): |
The side the angle is looking at is called the Opposite. |
