Can have several meanings:

 

Forces

·         All horizontal forces add up to zero

·         All vertical forces add up to zero

Friction

·         On the point of slipping

·         Velocity is constant (ie no acceleration)

 

Moments

·         All clockwise moments equal all anti-clockwise moments

 

OR

 

·        All clockwise and anti-clockwise moments add up to zero
